NEWPORT NEWS, Va.-- College of William & Mary senior Marcus Thornton has been named University Division Men’s Basketball Player of the Year while Virginia Tech freshman Justin Bibbs was named Rookie of the Year by the Virginia Sports Information Directors. Virginia Coach Tony Bennett was named the Coach of the Year.
